Jowl 3/4 Split Shackle Features
Patented Split "J" Design: Introducing the PATENTED JOWL recovery split shackle, engineered to eliminate the need for tools or soft shackles. This innovative split "J" design allows for tool-less, closed-loop recovery, making rope and strap connections faster and more efficient on the trail.
Fast Tool-Less Operation: Say goodbye to removing shackles from your bumper or hitch receiver to make connections. Simply open the Jowl shackle's hooked sides, insert your recovery rope or tow strap looped end, rotate to engage both sides, and pull tight. Recovery is quick and hassle-free, allowing you to spend more time enjoying your adventure.

Universal Fit: Compatible with any 2.0 or 2.5-inch D-Ring tow shackle receiver hitch bracket mounts featuring a 7/8" (0.875") pin hole and a mount width of 1-1/4" (1.25") or less.

High-Strength Construction: Crafted from forged carbon steel with a 5T (10,000 lb WLL) rating, the Jowl shackle is built to withstand the toughest recovery scenarios. The shackle pin is black nickel plated and machined from high-strength Grade 8 carbon steel for maximum durability.
Anti-Chatter Pads: Integrated rubber anti-chatter pads prevent the hooked sides from rattling against each other during rough terrain navigation, reducing noise and wear.
Complete Installation Kit: Each shackle includes four durable nylon shackle isolators (two 3.0mm washers and two 2.0mm washers) for centering the Jowl shackle on any width bumper mount, gusset, winch rope, or shackle receiver. Additionally, two Metric M18 cap screws with two 6mm Hex to 1/4" square drive adapters are included for easy installation and removal using standard 1/4" socket wrenches.
Mohawk Receiver 2.0 - Atomic Silver
Superior Material and Craftsmanship: The Mohawk 2.0 receiver is warm-forged from high-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, with grain flow orientation optimized to maximize the strength of your connection points, supporting a 10,000 lb workload limit.
Enhanced Compatibility: Equipped with two hitch pin holes for dual mounting positions, the Mohawk 2.0 offers broad compatibility with any 2-inch hitch package. A third hitch pin hole and included spacer enable 90-degree rotation, allowing for the mounting of hitch balls with a 3/4" shank. This setup supports a 300 lb towing tongue weight and a 3,500 lb gross trailer weight, while accepting Class I/II hitch balls.
Abrasion-Resistant Design: Unlike standard shackle receivers with sharp edges that can damage soft shackles, synthetic ropes, tree savers, and strap loops, the Mohawk 2.0 features a large radius on the main mounting hole’s outer edges. This design significantly reduces abrasion, extending the lifespan of your recovery gear and making it ideal for any closed-loop recovery setup.
