These brackets come with a black powder coat finish that is highly durable and will protect them from harsh weather conditions or terrain. Installation is simple and does not require any drilling; just bolt them on. The brackets won’t interfere with the function of your hood opening or closing. As usual with close-quarter installations like this one, there will be contact between the bracket and the sides of the valance – but that doesn’t affect durability or performance in any way.
