The TEQ Off-Road Differential Breather Relocation Kit for the 1996-2002 4Runner is a crucial upgrade designed to prevent costly damage to your rear differential. By relocating the breather to a higher position, this kit protects your differential from water infiltration and dirt buildup, which can lead to seal failure and other expensive issues.

Prevents Differential Flooding: By moving the breather higher, this kit reduces the risk of water entering the differential during off-road water crossings, especially when the differential gets supercooled and needs to release pressure.
Prevents Clogs and Seal Failure: The factory breather's low position makes it vulnerable to clogging from dirt and debris, which can prevent it from releasing pressure and cause your differential seals to fail.
